Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and this is something you can treat yourself and the whole family on a Sunday morning.
- 1 Whole French Baguette
- 1 Cup of Half & Half
- 3 Whole Large Eggs
- 3 Dashes of Cinnamon
- 2 Dashes of Pumpkin Spice
- 2 Dashes of Vanilla Extract
- Butter for the Pan
- Powdered Sugar for Topping
Tip: Buying a good quality baguette makes a huge difference.
Slice the bread at an angle 🙂
Tip : Using farm fresh eggs makes everything better 🙂 Plus they’re beautiful
Crack 3 eggs in a bowl for mixing
Add 1 Cup of half & half ( This can also be done using part milk
I used these spices and extracts
Tip: If you like more pumpkin add more
3 Dashes of cinnamon 2 Dashes of pumpkin 2 dashes of vanilla ( You can play and add more)
Mix it all together 🙂
I can’t stand working with stainless steel but my mom swears non stick causes cancer
Heat your stainless steel pan on low (to prevent burning) Add a chunk of butter to grease the ban.
Tip: Don’t let it sit in the mixture for to long.
Coat both sides with the yolk mixture 🙂
Place the pieces in the pan and wait for the underside to turn dark brown (not black).
When they are cooked on both sides sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
Don’t forget the maple syrup 🙂
